SHIPPING POLICY

Processing Time

All in-stock fabric orders are typically processed and shipped within 24–48 hours on business days, Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST.

While we make every effort to meet this timeframe, occasional delays may occur due to backorders, inventory availability, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, customers will be notified promptly with an updated shipping estimate.

Custom, made-to-order, and production items require additional processing time and will ship according to the estimated lead time provided at checkout or in order confirmation.


Upholstery Fabric Shipping (Flat-Fold vs. Rolled)

Orders of 10 yards or less of upholstery fabric may be flat folded only when the FedEx 2nd Day Air shipping option is selected and available at checkout.

  • Unless otherwise specified, qualifying orders shipped via FedEx 2nd Day Air may be flat folded.

  • If rolled shipment is preferred, customers must select UPS Ground or another rolled-eligible shipping option at checkout.

Minor creases that may result from flat folding can be easily removed by gently steaming the fabric upon arrival.


Awning Grade & Sling Fabrics

Awning grade and sling fabrics are shipped on a roll only and cannot be flat folded due to material characteristics.


Expedited Shipping

For expedited processing, orders must be placed by 1:00 PM EST on a business day. Expedited shipping options are subject to product availability.

Customers are encouraged to confirm fabric availability with our customer service team prior to placing time-sensitive orders.


Sample Orders

Sample orders placed before 3:00 PM EST on a business day are typically shipped the same business day, provided the requested sample is in stock.

  • Samples shipped via USPS First Class Mail generally arrive within 5–10 business days and do not include tracking.

  • For faster delivery or tracking, customers may select an upgraded shipping method such as FedEx 2-Day, USPS Priority Mail, or UPS Ground at checkout.


Shipping Methods & Delivery Times

Available shipping methods and estimated transit times are displayed at checkout. All delivery dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather conditions, customs processing, or events outside our control.


International Shipping

OutdoorFabrics ships worldwide.

For international orders, once an order is received, our team will determine the most cost-effective shipping method available for the destination. Customers will receive an updated invoice reflecting shipping charges along with wire transfer payment instructions.

All international orders must be paid via wire transfer prior to shipment. Any customs duties, import taxes, brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country are the sole responsibility of the recipient. This policy is strictly enforced.


Risk of Loss

Ownership and risk of loss for products pass to the customer once the order is tendered to the shipping carrier, except where otherwise required by law.


Damaged, Missing, or Lost Shipments

If an order arrives damaged, is missing items, or is lost in transit, customers must contact us within 30 days of the ship date so we may assist with the carrier claim process where applicable. Documentation of packaging and product condition may be required.


Incorrect or Incomplete Shipping Information

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information at checkout. We are not responsible for delays, lost shipments, or additional charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete addresses.
